Surmount Investigations' founder and director is a contributing author for the upcoming Taylor & Francis, CRC Press. publication, "The Art of Investigation" compiled by Chelsea Binns, a noted professor at John Jay College of Criminal Justice in New York City, and Bruce Sackman, President of the Society of Professional Investigators.

Surmount Investigations also provides presentations and 'case study' based seminars to law firms and commercial businesses subjected around the importance and need for regulation and standardised ethical conduct foundations for private and professional investigators as well as for lawful conduct in the ways and means of investigation.

We fully advocate for the eventual licensing of private and professional investigators in this field under the Private Security Industry Act 2001 in order to stop the trade from continuing to be flooded with disreputable characters who hold concerning criminal histories and/or national companies falsely representing themselves and taking financial advantage of people.

The company is proud to be a member of The North East Chamber of Commerce and work to support local business and trade within the region.

They also hold Professional Indemnity and Public Liability Insurance.

As a company, Surmount Investigation requires all of its operatives to be qualified to a minimum of Level 3 Professional Investigators Award and to have a background in working under PACE 1984.
